Blueberry & Almond Porridge

What do you have for breakky?  When I am trying to be healthy I like to cook porridge.

It fills me up, tastes great and it quick and easy to prepare.

Unfortunately my kids don’t really like porridge, so I quickly put my oats and water in the thermomix set is for 7.5 minutes then get the kids cereal ready.

What could be easier?

Ingredients

  • 40 grams Oats
  • 210 grams water
  • 1 tablespoon blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup hi lo milk

Method

Place oats and water into thermomix bowl and lock lid

Cook for 7.5 minutes at 100°C  reverse speed 2

Pour porridge into a bowl and top with blueberries, almonds and cinnamon.  Add  milk and serve

You can add honey or sugar, but I prefer mine just like this.
